What counts as an active client?
Someone currently paying you — on a membership, a session pack or a program. Leads in your pipeline and alumni you're still marketing to don't count, and neither do staff seats. You can work a list of a thousand prospects on the Solopreneur plan without paying for a single one of them.
What happens if I go over my limits?
Nothing stops working — that's the point. When your segments run out the next block is added automatically, so a member never waits on a reply because of a billing limit. In the US and Canada a block is $20 for 500 segments, charged at the end of the cycle with an itemised receipt. Rates vary by country. Nothing rolls over; every cycle starts fresh.
If you outgrow your active client count, more are available as an add-on — we'll size it with you rather than charging you by surprise.
I send a lot of texts. Is there a better rate?
Yes. If you're regularly buying extra blocks, we'll move you onto a high-volume messaging plan rather than letting the overages stack up. Bring your last few months of usage to the demo and we'll price it properly.
What counts as an SMS segment?
160 characters of plain text is one segment, and both the messages you send and the replies you get back count. Emojis, curly quotes and accented letters switch the message to a format that fits only 70 characters per segment, so they cost more than they look. Merge fields and links expand when the message goes out, so it's the final length that counts, not what you typed.
What is the branded member app?
A web-based app under your gym's name where members book classes, join a waitlist, place their membership on hold, log check-ins and message their coach. It runs in the browser, so there's no app store review and nothing for members to download.
Because it books and pays through Naamly, it comes with the plans where Naamly runs those — Solopreneur and Premiere. On Starter your members keep using whatever your current system gives them.
Will you move my data across?
Yes. Members, plans, payment details, class schedules and message history all come over, and we run both systems in parallel for a full cycle before you switch the old one off.
Migration is a one-time add-on on every plan, priced on scope — moving three years of history off an old platform is a different job from starting with a member list, and we'd rather quote the job in front of us than average it into everyone's monthly.
Which plan am I?
It comes down to one question: do you already have billing and booking you're happy with? If you're a solo coach with nothing in place, that's Solopreneur. If you're a gym running a billing system that works and the gap is follow-up, that's Starter — we sync with what you have. If you want the whole thing in one place, that's Premiere.
Which billing systems does Starter connect to?
Pike13, Wodify and a number of other gym billing platforms. Rather than publish a list that goes out of date, tell us what you're running when you book — we'll confirm on the call exactly what syncs and what doesn't before you commit to anything.
Can I move from Starter to Premiere later?
Yes, and your history comes with you. Every conversation, campaign, journal and client record you've built on Starter stays exactly where it is — Premiere adds Naamly's billing and booking underneath it, and we run the parallel cycle described above before anything switches off.
Do you take a percentage of what I collect?
No. Payments run at 2.9% + 30¢ per card transaction and 0.8% on ACH, and that's the whole cost — Naamly doesn't take a share of your billing on top. Your plan price is the same whether you bill $3,000 a month or $30,000.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Give us one billing cycle's notice and that's it.
